Composite materials are used within the marine, hydropower, hydraulic, rail, offshore, construction and industrial markets. They are designed specifically to replace traditional metal based bearings; resulting in longer life and other technical advantages including, high strength/weight ratios, self-lubrication & significant weight reductions plus they are naturally a low coefficient of friction.
