HIS Shaft Mounted Gearbox Units
HIS brand of SMGU is manufactured to the highest quality and gives fantastic performance and reliability. They are made from solid cast iron, and it’s possible to mount them directly onto the drive shaft. They are suitable for both forward and reverse motion and are fully interchangeable with other SMGU’s.
A range of accessories is also available to support maintenance programmes and installation and our boxes are easily identified as they are sprayed in Howcroft black.
We offer from stock both keyed and keyless taper grip type SMGU’s, offering one of the largest selections in the UK. Our stock range is available in 11 sizes with 3 normal ratios of 5:1, 13:1 and 20:1. Other sizes and ratios are available and manufactured to special requests.
